When we were brought into this project we had just 16 weeks to restore the stonework in the south transept. There were no two ways about it. St Peter’s is Huddersfield’s main parish church. And, with a full calendar of advent services and activities already planned, our work simply had to be completed, and the building restored to its former glory, before Christmas. Despite the short timescale we had a lot to do - repointing and descaling, and, in locations where the existing stone could not be restored, producing new sections that exactly matched the original.“They’re a very well-managed and well-structured company. I particularly like the way they fitted in so well alongside myself and the others working on the project. There’s no ‘us’ and ‘them’ with Bullen Conservation.” Back to Projects
